Our Dinner Programs

Since 1982, My Brother's Table has been a place of Big Meals and Small Miracles for those who are hungry. Although we are a soup kitchen, we also provide the “chicken soup for the soul” and other services that many of our guests require. For example, a crew of listening volunteers regularly comes to chat with, and most importantly, listen to our guests during the evening meal.

Senior Dinner Program

My Brother's Table prepares and serves meals twice a month to 100 seniors who have no transportation to our soup kitchen. These seniors are identified as at risk by Greater Lynn Senior Services. The meals are served at a local senior housing project or at GLSS headquarters.

Other Table Programs

My Brother's Table serves lunch Monday through Friday. We also provide free meals on a daily basis to the Lynn Police for individuals in jail. The Table works with local food pantries as part of the Lynn Hunger Network coordinating the distribution of turkeys on Thanksgiving, the annual National Letter Carriers Canned Food Drive, and sharing “extra” food deliveries with others in the community who are active in the war against hunger.
